I hold a Business Science degree in Marketing from the University of Cape Town, which I completed with distinction and a place on the Dean’s Merit List. My academic excellence was recognised with both the Ogilvy and Mather Award and the School of Management Studies Award for being the top Business Science Marketing student in 2024. I developed a particular interest in sustainability and digital marketing, and completed my thesis on the impact of green-influencers on sustainable consumer behaviour, earning a distinction. My practical marketing experience is complemented by my role as a Marketing Tutor at UCT, where I honed my leadership and communication skills. I also gained valuable industry experience during my internship at People Have Influence, a leading influencer marketing agency. There, I worked on campaigns for high-profile brands such as Aperol Spritz, adidas, Rekorderlig Cider, Playstation, and Cellini Luggage. I managed influencer communications, created social media content that generated over 82,000 impressions, and contributed to campaign ideation and post-campaign reporting. As a freelancer, I’ve conceptualised and executed end-to-end social media and communications campaigns, aligning content with brand strategy. My work includes crafting engaging copy, designing visuals, developing content series, and managing content calendars—always with a focus on storytelling, education, and community engagement. With a strong academic foundation, hands-on experience in influencer marketing, and a proven ability to lead and execute strategic campaigns, I bring both creativity and analytical thinking to every marketing project I take on.
