Jul. 2015 - Mar. 2017Varsity LakesDuring my 20 month tenure at Serco Australia Pty Ltd, managing the tax related accounts (TFN, ABN, ACN) of inbound contacts via telephone and digital or written correspondence. I gained an insight into the world of tax, educating myself through work and extra curricular study. I became extremely well versed in inbound call centre operations, general & advanced taxation advice. My duties included handling inbound calls and correspondence, registering and cancelling tax roles (GST, PAYGI, PAYGW, FTC, etc). Correcting errors and lodging income tax returns and BAS statements was part of internal procedure. I was recipient of six consecutive monthly customer compliment awards for exceptional service and team member of the month for the month of May 2016. Using Siebel, Mainframe and other in-house ATO systems I demonstrated my capacity to manage and service the accounts and tax affairs of a wide number of Australian and Foreign tax stakeholders. Individuals, small, medium and large enterprise. It would be unprofessional to mention the specifics of accounts that I serviced, however it is prudent to say that I was given the opportunity to assist multi-million dollar businesses from several locations and industries and I pride myself in the efficiency and accuracy of my work.
