Mar. 2005Miami/Fort Lauderdale Area• Responsible for providing clientèle with pricing quotes for commodity export • Process booking(s) for said commodities via shipping lines (i.e., Seaboard Marine) • Collecting and processing documentation for customs clearance maintaining a 0% (zero percent) denial/return record • Maintaining progress reports on shipment status for optimal experience • Research and Resolve customer concerns/complaints in an empathetic manner • Successfully and Consistently negotiating contracts with outside/overseas providers to minimize costs; simultaneously for the firm as well as customers • Consistently adhering to all confidentiality SOPs with a 100% success rate • Executive liaison between clientele (within private and government sectors) and internal departments • Prepare proposals and budgets for strategic accounts and global opportunities • Liaise with operational department heads during proposal development to ensure incorporation of the project plan and study strategy • Review RFP information to ensure that it has adequate information for budget preparation and follow up with appropriate team members for additional information, as needed • Develop and negotiate project budgets in conjunction with global operational teams • Chair budget strategy, review, and sign-off teleconferences • Participate in client meeting preparations, as needed, to support Business Development • Liaise with third party vendors for provision of quotations where required • Perform other duties as required by the Department
