Many people need a box to operate in, it makes them feel safe. Then there are those that didn't realise that there was a box. Thankfully I fall into the latter category. Whilst my role originally started out within the automotive environment, it has quickly morphed into a FinTech business, moving at rapid rate within a space that we are watching being disrupted each and every day.
I am constantly forced to challenge the status quo both from an internal organisation perspective as well as how to operate in the market with current solutions and what drives the disruption.
My portfolio includes finding solutions that our customers don't realise they wanted or needed.
At a GM level, one expects to have to do all the necessary " garden variety" requirements, manage budgets, projections, driving certain projects etc... but it is the other stuff, the juicy stuff, the sexy stuff that I relish in.
This is what I believe:
