Apr. 2021Serve as direct supervisor for a 11-person team administering the Environmental Compliance, Environmental Stewardship (ENS), Recreation(REC), Sustainability missions at 18 Civil Works lake projects and the Missouri River across a 4-state region. Staff is comprised of 1 GS-12 Environmental Resource Specialist, 2 GS-12 Conservation Biologists, 3 GS-12 NRM Specialists, 4 GS-04 Ranger Trainees (Duty stations vary), 1 Student Conservation Association GIS Intern Selection, onboarding and orientation of entire 11-person staff in first 2 years, including transition to Workplace 2.0, recruitment of 5 field-located employees and recruitment of 4 temporary details during temporary extended leave of employees. Heavily involved in oversight of the ENS and REC Programs in Kansas City District, $8M and $14M annually along with specific work. Active REC CATT team member since 2018 Served on small group for intensive Rec Expenditure report review, 2020 Served on WRDA 8227 for REC Backlog Report, 2024 Serve on Tribal Liaison Team as Operations representative, presenting to Tribal Nations during 2024 listening sessions, including follow up responses Provided oversight on execution on over ½ of the District Master Plans, with additional Master Plans proposed as capability allows, including Missouri River Instrumental in reviving the NWK Public Safety Strategic Plan targeting public outreach efforts to pre-covid levels
