I am responsible for responding to customer account requests for information, providing technical information, and addressing and resolving inquiries and problems. I sell wire, cable, and wire management products to customers and channels either by promoting our products with existing customers or by following up on referrals to prospective customers. Close strategy with the account manager to develop quotes and configurations for existing or potential customers. I create custom daily and monthly reports using SAP to extract data into excel spreadsheets that show where the region is, throughout the month and quarter, and year, compared to the region's sales plan, where each account executive is compared to their individual sales plan, and the sales margins for the previous billing day which are also broken down by each account executive. As the Sales Trainer for my sales office, I am responsible for training new employees to navigate through SAP, assist customers with product information, and teach new and existing employees best practices, by holding monthly meetings, using procedures that I help create and update when needed. As a member of our Employee Social Committee, I am responsible for planning for future events that each sales office will participate in, plan, and host the events including the employee appreciation month activities, holiday luncheons, Christmas parties, and new employee gatherings while staying in a yearly budget for the events.
