Managing distributed shared resources across 3 continents, effectively deployed key strategic services and enhanced functionality to clients in South Africa and Rest of Africa. ATM channels successful deployment of the Automated Note Acceptor, a first for Standard Bank enabling direct cash deposit and immediate value to client. Within card issuing and payments, creating value to customers and SBSA through the implementation of multiple projects through improving functionality and processes on existing products and services, the introduction of new functionality, new product implementation, regulatory requirements, secure payment options and functionality, and platform systems enhancements to create a leaner and improved platform. An example of new product is the implementation of the “tap-and-go” credit card creating a more sanitized user experience while reducing transaction times and less opportunity for fraud. In Africa, deployment of EMV chipped enabled cards into Rest of Africa, the first of its kind for Standard Bank in Africa. Working closely with institutions such as MasterCard and Visa as well as card chip enablement and embossers to achieve project delivery. Responsibilities not limited to and include:
Management of budgets, Financial planning – future project costs, Forming high-performance teams, Manage and execute resources management, Vendor & SLA management, Change management (people, process, systems), Governance compliance, Risk & Issue Management, Stakeholder management, Conflict management Key deliverables include (but not limited to): • CPS Optimization, Risk-Based Pricing, APO Recalculation, Balance Transfer
• Card Issuing - Enable contactless (tap-and-go) functionality on Platinum and World Cards
• Card Issuing - EMV Debit Card (Ghana)
• Card Issuing – Banks Core Card System Optimization
