-Design, implement, and assess French curriculum that encourages active student participation, involvement, and teamwork
-Research and execute current best practices for language instruction, including comprehensible input strategies and TPRS
-Foster a positive classroom environment with mutual respect and consideration as collective goals -Use a variety of instructional strategies to provide equity and excellence to students of all abilities -Work collaboratively with other teachers in developing and sharing curriculum strategies -Maintain accurate records and grades for students -Use various tools to deliver hybrid and online instruction both synchronously and asynchronously -Develop and implement daily lessons for 9th and 10th grade AVID students focusing on writing, inquiry, collaboration, organization, and reading
-Mentor and motivate students to achieve more in their education immediately and in the future through after school tutoring, career and college research, and field trips to colleges -Present various guided reading, critical thinking, organized writing, and cooperative learning strategies resulting in higher student achievement -Inspire students at a typically average educational level to reach for more, to aspire for higher education through lessons, projects, research, field trips, and more -Lead staff professional development on AVID strategies and teaching best practices to foster student relationships and differentiate curriculum to engage all students. -Use various tools to deliver hybrid and online instruction both synchronously and asynchronously
