I am working under the System Wide Information Management (SWIM) organization on the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team to provide a secure, fast and reliable Public-Key Infrastructure (PKI) environment for the Federal Aviation Administrations (FAA) National Aerospace System (NAS).
• VMware Lead - vSphere 6-8, vCenter, vROPS, API & Ansible Automation - integration, development and on-going management of all VMware software and hardware. Manage all updates, procedures, troubleshoot issues including cooling, power and more. Automation using Ansible and API calls.
• Lab Environment Admin (Lead) - Managing all Dell hosts (including VRTXs, PowerEdge compute hosts, storage hosts (including DR series and NX series), SCSI clusters and more), Networking (including Cisco IOS switches , Palo Alto firewalls, and more).
• Backup Administrator - integration, management and on-going maintenance - CommVault backup system running for over 20 vSphere hosts, 10Gig backup networking using Cisco 10G switches, and 30-90 day backup retention
• Ansible Development - developing playbooks to deploy customizations, software and hardening to secure every host. Baseline deployment automation via Ansible playbooks and utils. Constant automation of repetitive tasks for all team members to use
• Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment integration - Utilizing CI/CD and Kubernetes to deploy clusters for development, code testing, performance testing, unit testing, and security/dependency scanning
• Updating documentation including: Initial Program Load, Training Setup, Technical Handbook, and more
