• Set up and ensure all HR policies and procedures are up to date in line with current employment law by identifying legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance. Studies legislation and arbitration decisions to assess industry trends
• Advises Management on business and personnel related matters • Manage the manpower budget of the company
• Administer compensation, benefits, retention, performance management systems, and safety and recreation programs
• Conduct manpower forecasting and serve as the overall responsible for all recruitment activities and campaigns
• Contracts with outside suppliers to provide employee services, such as temporary employees, search firms, or relocation services.
• Plans and conducts new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward Company goals.
• Work with senior managers to coach and advise them on performance management issues and processes
• Provide guidance on development for managers and their teams
• Implement the training and development agenda
• Identify areas that need attention and improvement
• Measure employee satisfaction and identify areas that require improvement
• Enforces discipline across the whole organization
• Deal with complex disciplinary/grievance and HR issues, using HR and company knowledge evidencing appropriate decision making skills
• Advises management in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
• Represents organization at personnel-related hearings and investigations.
