Thara Dhishay is a full-time musician (vocalist). She was born and raised in Bahrain, then attended Berklee College of Music in Boston before settling in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She is a part of The Berklee Indian Ensemble and their debut album, "Shuruaat" was *Grammy®️ Nominated* for the Best Global Music Album 2023! She has also toured and been a part of a number of Berklee Indian Ensemble Performances and Projects from 2015-2016. (Youtube links are listed below). Thara has been singing Eastern (Semi-Classical and Bollywood) and Western (Mainstream Pop, RnB, Funk, Blues) music since she was a child and is now the lead singer for the local band F.I.S.H. She has been working on and released some of her original songs since 2021 (Spotify links below). Awards & Accomplishments: * Berklee Indian Ensemble Grammy Nominee for Best Global Music Album 2023 “Shuruaat”. * Lead singer for the local band F.I.S.H. * Opened for Neeraj Sridhar at Bollywood Parks 2018 with the Local Band RAAG * Winner of Bohot Hard Singer Contest 2019 which was part of the Bohot Hard (The Biggest Desi Music Festival in Dubai) organized by Rocknation and judged by Neeraj Sridhar Luke Kenny and Pratichee Mohapatra * Performed on big platforms as part of the Dubai Shopping Festival 2019 * Performed as featuring lead female singer with the local Indo Pak band DHRUV at Expo2020 part of their Diwali Celebration 2021 line up (Deepotsav). * Performed at the Baseball United Fan Fest, Dubai’s FIRST baseball game that took place at the Dubai International Stadium in November 2023. * Done live radio shows on Dubai92, GoldFM, HitFM, BigFM, 89.4 TamilFM, Suno 104.2 FM and 89.1 FM (Kritika Express) in the UAE. * Cover artist on Music Lockdown Season 2 (YouTube Series) by VCR Music. *Voice for Coca Cola Ad (India) 2024.
