Most recently Piers has been working in Episodic animation as an EP / Co-Producer. Historically - he has a wealth of experience in visual effects for both television and film. Having begun his career in advertising, he went on to become an essential fixture at Jim Henson's Creature Shop where he supplied animatronic, CG and special effects from conception to delivery. He then joined Framestore CFC, operating in both London and New York. In 2005, Piers set up his own VFX outfit, The Bluff Hampton Company, providing innovative creative VFX solutions for HBO, Twentieth Century Fox and Stan Winston Productions among others. With a strong practical background, Piers is equally adept building and filming practical elements, as he is offering digital solutions. Some of Piers' credits include the Emmy Award winning Generation Kill (HBO), Primeval (Impossible Pictures), Nine (Weinstein Company), The Devil's Whore (Channel 4), Andrei Konchalovsky's Nutcracker and the Rat King, The Special Relationship (HBO) and Storage 24 (Medient / Universal).
