Aug. 2010 - Nov. 2012Hudson, FLI successful managed daily instruction of over 150 students, acted as Department Head for Electives, ran the high school television production studio, and the high school drama program. Through instructional practices and program management, I grew the student programs in participation from 30 students to over 150 and increased the revenue from $250 to $5,000 annually. I implemented a self-sustaining drama program that grew from only one drama class needed, to needing 5 drama based course offerings. I supported elective instructors with best practices and data driven decisions that resulted in all instructors earning highly effective. I promoted collaboration between the instructors and empowered them to lean in by creating a safe team environment. I assisted the administration team with special projects such as dissecting student performance data and proposing changes to classroom instruction to improve student achievement. Through this, I was selected to participate in the district's Aspiring Leaders program, as well as served on committee for National Advisory Committee of Educational Testing Service (PRAXIS), High School Design Board
for the district, Problem Solving/Response to Intervention, Recognition, Common Grading Practices, and Literacy Committees.
