As a Licensing Sales Specialist (LSS) I work with Customers and the Sales Specialists (Account Managers) to sell the value proposition of annuity offerings and grow the volume licensing business for the Microsoft Solutions Line of Business. Licensing professionals are volume licensing experts in both Volume Licensing and Product Licensing, who work directly with Customers and focus on shortening licensing sales cycles and own and lead the deal negotiation with the Account Manager. I am given the full responsibility to not only close licensing deals, but to be responsible for closing the Microsoft solution with the Account Manager which also includes Public (O365) and Private Cloud Services; new additive programmes such as EAP and ECI; with product solutions in order to grow the licensing annuity business further and deepen the Dimension Data reach within the Customer's IT infrastructure. This is referred to as Upsell and Cross sell accordingly. This is not limited to Microsoft, but incorporates the Software Services business.
