My team consisted of approximately 100-180 professionals dedicated to attracting top talent to the enterprise. Since 2011 I led the talent acquisition team that was recognized by winning over 45 external awards in the areas of Veteran Hiring, Strategic Recruiting, Candidate Experience and Recruiting Leadership. I provided strategic direction for the function, designed enterprise level processes, created efficiencies in the system and partnered with the business in creating innovative strategies and approaches that resulted in hiring the best talent for their positions. I led the company's Veteran Hiring Initiative that exceeded our original commitment to hire 1000 Veterans and Military Spouse by hiring over 2000 by the end of 2014. We have renewed our commitment by pledging to average hiringg 500 per year indefinitely and added a focus on hiring Wounded Warriors and hiring people with disabilities. I partnered with C-suite executives to design and implement several enterprise Talent Acquisition projects including the introduction and adoption of electronic interviewing, and the creation of a unique "Tiered Hiring" approach to improve the accuracy of budgeting, resourcing, and cost control. I helped to implement the Taleo Applicant Tracking system, the Avature CRM and I was involved in the implementation of Workday within the enterprise. I launched several organizational optimization actions including the shift to functional recruiting, the re-design of the College, Diversity and Executive Recruiting offerings, and the creation of an internal mobility/redeployment team. We increased the efficiency of our recruiting team by introducing a dynamic and automated initial screening process that reduced various forms of bias from the screening process and we expect it to reduce turnover and increase the quality of the candidates assessed.
