In turn my position enabled me to be client facing, allowing me to assist and co-ordinate events on site that were specifically tailored to client needs. Tracked closely the internal budget in order to adhere to strict financial specifications. This was done by liaising with clients to gain a keen understanding of their requirements while selecting venues and event resource that stayed within these guidelines to lower costs. Created strong relationships with external venues to gain a vital understanding of each other’s wants in order to best meet client needs. This great report was imperative in solving, often, time and event critical problems. Thus satisfying client requirements during high impact events and high stress situations. Gained a keen understanding of external venues through sight viewings. With these viewings I acquire a personal understanding of these spaces, what they had to offer and how they best met the needs of my clients. As a result I was able to both advise and suggest venues that catered best for my clients and ensured successful events. Only months into my position I was given the responsibility of organising and executing high-level events in my managers absence. In this position I was able to gained an in-depth understanding of the running and executing of high profile events. With these responsibilities I was the sole person to liaise with clients and to organise a number of complex events with specific requirements and all with flawless execution Achieved a high level of customer service, essential in my client facing work place. My approachable friendly and helpful manner was instrumental in allowing clients to communicate their needs and have them heard and understood. I was able to cater my service with an understanding of personalities and the appropriate approach to utilize.
