I have written curriculum for 2 pioneer classes at Notre Dame around dance. First, DanceTechniques and Aesthetics - a wide ranged, critical overview of the history of ballet and modern dance. Students will not only leave the course knowing what dance art is, through technique and historical analysis, but will also participate in the creative principals of this art through improvisation, composition and choreographed performance. The second, Dance Composition and Performance, expands the possibility for each student to investigate a path of ideation and further develop those ideas through analysis and critique. In addition to the curricular program, I too choreograph for the school musicals and campus ministry. And lastly, I mentor the school dance team under the direction of Catherine Pandori, director of Student Affairs
