Dec. 2023 - Dec. 2024Calgary, Alberta, CanadaPeople Operations Associate Responsibilities: ● Manages personnel files and ensures Provincial labor law compliance and company record retention policy. ● Collaborated with Randstad, IS2, and Agilus industry partners for talent scouting, recruitment, and hiring. ● Facilitates the preparation and distribution of required federal, state, and local HR-related notices. ● Facilitates employee work-life balance initiative recommendations to senior management. ● Utilizes HRIS software onboarding and logistics systems for orientation and training meetings ● Administers the performance management program according to design reviews. ● Prepares and responds to unemployment claims ● Enhances, conducts, and assists with the administration of the company's internal training programs to align with long-term HR goals and objectives ● Familiarity with COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, FLSA, and all HR-related state, provincial, and federal regulations required. ● Experienced in Microsoft Office applications and Human Resource Information Systems. ● Customer service driven and strong teamwork skills. ● Administers hourly recruiting, sourcing, and screening for qualified applicants applying for positions. ● Schedules interviews, facilitates performance reviews and advertises new positions for internal employees. ● Reviews, approves, and audits invoicing processes to the customer. ● Participates in month-end closing process, accounts reconciliation, and the preparation of various ● Analyzes financial and operational performance, and provides concise, relevant explanations, observations, and/or recommendations to leadership and executive management. ● Participates in budgets and forecasts and monitors and analyzes the variances in budgets and forecasts
