Nov. 1989 - Dec. 1995Hired as lead receptionist for a busy and established fish company and specialty foods distributor. Promoted to inside sales within the first year. As an Inside sales representative I was responsible for contacting clients and supporting outside sales representatives with sales territories. Promoted to outside sales representative within the next 2 years and responsible for extensive travel for face to face sales calls with clients. Also responsible for maintaining store displays with company product and annual industry trade show. Successfully managed a territory and produced over 1 million in sales annually. Promoted to Inside Sales Supervisor within the next two years and managed high traffic call center and inside sales staff that included effectively managing relationships with warehouse manager and transportation companies. Was also responsible for managing high profile restaurant accounts. This position included weekly sales meetings, product introductions and weekly and monthly goal setting. April of 1995 the company underwent a merger with large food distributor, US Foods, and I continued in the role of City Desk Supervisor until 1997.
