Besides HR Operations, I was focussing on Employee Relations, Remuneration & Benefits, Performance Management, Training & Development and Zai's overall People Strategy.
- I effectively partnered with, challenged and influenced business leaders to deliver the right outcomes on people-related decisions.
- I was driving culture change and delivered global and local change initiatives.
- I managed all People related operational tasks to ensure they are completed efficiently (i.e., payroll, benefits administration, employment contracts, work visas, HRIS, reporting)
- I managed complex employee relations cases including dispute resolutions, disciplinaries, grievances and redundancy.
- I measured employee satisfaction and identified areas that require improvement.
- I was coaching managers on performance management issues and processes.
- I provided guidance on development for managers and their teams.
- I helped manage people-related risk profiles including operational and reputational risk.
- I worked with the Leadership team to develop HR policies, standards and procedures to drive performance and effective collaboration.
- I provided first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers.
- I managed talent and succession planning across the business ensuring that a yearly review is completed.
- I implemented specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.
- I supported change management processes (demergers / mergers) from a people perspective.
