Digital Marketing AcademyDigital marketing Challenge
Feb. 2022 - Mar. 2022Nottingham, England, United KingdomI participated in the UON digital marketing academy and undertook a series of industry recognised qualifications. I completed the fundamentals of digital marketing which included SEO, Facebook and Instagram ads, as well as learning about google ads pay per click. I also completed The DMA Digital Challenge where I was involved in a group project which required a commitment of approximately 12 hours over a period of 3 weeks whilst at university. The business 'Stone Wolf' was looking for a plan for implementing into my wider marketing strategy to raise brand awareness and web traffic and sales. > Estimated costs/Budgets required for implementing this marketing strategy (daily budgets) as well as the target audience parameters/demographics I should be using on paid ads > An action plan for a specific and comprehensive paid ad campaign > Finally a creative content strategy that focuses on how to increase SW’s social media following within the industry, playing to their strengths. The strategy would include ideas of how to
highlight the level of detail/quality of our garments without having a physical store. The aim was to deliver a report to the business 'Stone Wolf'. This consisted of general research of the fitness industry, competitor analysis of the fitness apparel industry, analysis of their current situation, recommendations to improve their marketing strategy for the future of their business. This information was collated and formed into a video presentation which was delivered to them. I focused on strategies to improve their Facebook ads strategy in particular. This included how to structure campaigns, how to target and build stronger audiences, crafting copywriting and messaging using their customers pain points and desires to increase conversions.
