GlobaliDDirector of Delivery
Aug. 2022 - Dec. 2024I am responsible for leading multi-disciplined teams that plan, build, and support the GlobaliD app. Company size varied between 30 and 180 people. Day-to-day work:
- Collaborating with stakeholders (Engineering, Project Management, Product, Marketing, Sales, Architecture and Design), to ensure that solutions achieve the needed objectives;
- Managing, developing, and adapting the programs and processes for a smooth delivery with minimal disruption (design and plan changes, communicate and implement new flows and processes, collect feedback) Striving towards continuous improvement, but was also part of 6 radical restructurings;
- Executive reporting to investors (demos, timelines, roadmaps);
- Working closely with developers to understand technical challenges and ensure alignment with strategic and operational goals;
- Educating, training, and coaching team members about how to manage delivery operations, and set priorities;
- Ingesting, discovering, and planning the company roadmap for the product pillars: - Digital identity, - Non-custodial and custodial wallets, - Messaging;
- iOS and Android app management 100+ new features, 200+ releases (from conception to release, including handling those pesky Apple reviews);
- Managing and overseeing Atlassian products (Jira, Jira product discovery, Confluence);
- Providing feedback and helping team members act on it;
- Enabling transparent and focused communication within and across teams;
- Crisis response and management (triage of requests & reports, postmortems);
- Organizing retrospectives and workshops (100+, all including action items for immediate improvements).
