We aim to provide access to hand-crafted products that you’ll love to wear and wear out. At Commonwealth, our goal is to foster discussion within the community around consumption, personal style over fast fashion, capsule wardrobes, the value of craft and mending. We know that finding tops and bottoms that not only fit your style, but also your body can be a frustrating challenge. The workshop’s intention is to make a meticulously crafted garment for any and each body with ready-to-wear and custom sizing. To allow all folks to be able to walk in and request beautiful denim or leather, we have a sliding scale model for payment intended to provide equity and inclusion to our craft, based on the MIT living wage calculator.
