Aug. 2009 - Jul. 2010Athens, GreeceMy career path in Fnac started in May 2005 (launch of the brand in Greece) until July 2010 (when the company withdrew from the "much-troubled-financially" Greece). As the Store Manager of FNAC Monastiraki (3,000 m² opening November 2009) I was responsible for the following: • Direct supervision of 7 Heads (back office / functional and commercial departments) • Indirect supervision of a team of 50 front line staff. • Analysis of the commercial operation results and elaboration of the related action plans. • Recruitment of collaborators following the first selection from the HR Store Head, coordination, motivation for their performance and evolution within the context of the company • Preparation and submission of the annual budget for the Store and the departments, review, follow up and monitoring of its execution
Organization, preparation and participation at the annual stock take (once per year) • Recruit, organize, motivate his team and help their competencies grow in order to reply to the needs of the company - through daily supervision & coaching, evaluation, training proposals, potential review, objectives setting, career alternatives. • Assist to the Head Office Direction at the setting of the commercial strategy for the progress of the commercial activity and profitability as well as the qualitative customer support • Deliver an attractive “look and feel" within the company’s concept for the store towards the customer in regard to the merchandising, signage, appearance of products, commercial operations & campaigns, etc. • Accountable for the security of products with direct follow up of the security team and the health and safety of the employees and customers • Reported to the Managing Director of the company
