Pre - launch : Writes product copy, fine print, PR, emailers, recommends keywords and meta data for the media buyers and lead generation team to work on, sales deck for training the sales team, delivery manuals for ops to fulfill the service launched
Post- launch : Monitor product performance, report to C-level execs, propose to discount or sunset. Working closely with counterpart and senior management in the US, we launched new marketing services and products that included traditional print and online/digital advertising with national newspapers like NY Times, trade magazines like Reader's Digest, Library Journal, London Review of Books to name a few to author signing in book festivals like LA Times Festival of Books, Miami Book Festival to digital marketing tools like audio book formats, radio interviews, book widgets, QR tags, creation of animated and real person trailers for author's books. Related tasks include vendor sourcing & contract negotiation, product testing, ensuring that service level is delivered by setting up the operations fulfilment process, roll out to the sales and service delivery teams and monitoring of product performance. Collectively, the products portfolio contributed more than 50% to total annual revenue of US 110M by 2012. Recruited and mentored a team of product specialists as the company grew. Manages and maintains relationship with global vendors and accounts for business continuity which included international media and publicists, tech specialists, C+ level executives and business owners.
