As a voting member, my responsibilities included: 1) Nominating, standing and electing the CIVICUS Board of Directors for 3-year tenures 2) Approving the Annual Report and financial statements 3) Participating in the Annual Constituency Survey and 5 year strategic priority consultations 4) Standing in solidarity and taking action with the rest of the alliance. The Membership Advisory Group (MAG) plays a key role in the functioning of the CIVICUS Solidarity Fund: this includes reviewing applications, deciding final selection and related disbursements, and recommending additional support to complement funding. The MAG is comprised of a diverse representation of CIVICUS voting members.
