At WAMU in Washington DC (NPR) Mark led the station through format changes, expanded local news coverage, fostered the amalgamation of radio and digital news coverage, mentored the launch and expansion of social media, and debuted new innovative content and six new digital channels, making WAMU one of the leading public radio stations nationwide and the most listened-to FM station in Washington, DC, beating all commercial rivals.
