PearsonSenior Marketing Manager, Campaign Enablement / Global Diversity & Inclusion Advocate
Jan. 2018 - Dec. 2022Toronto, Canada AreaCampaign Enablement is a key role designed to help accelerate the transition of Pearson's business model from print to digital. I work with sales and marketing leadership and stakeholders to directly connect our strategic growth priorities across the business and to reinforce our digital learning message. I work across all marketing areas and direct the creation of various tools, assets, resources, and training for Pearson's sales team in order to improve efficiency and ensure success. I have established processes that drive those priorities through marketing, campaign, and sales execution. Ultimately, I work with all of Marketing to review and analyze digital strategy and messaging, and then provide the tools for sales to execute those strategies successfully in the field. With the onset of COVID, I was tasked with determining effective strategies to organize and execute on our National Sales Meetings, offered virtually for the first time to 75+ employees. Leading a scrum team made up of various stakeholders from the business, I created a format that worked exceptionally well for our first virtual sales meeting (Aug 2020) and then adjusted that format to accommodate new sales structures as we moved through additional virtual sales meetings. As one of three Global Diversity & Inclusion Advocates for Pearson Canada, I work with the team to produce programming around issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion to educate staff and allow for discussion. The D&I Advocates also liaise with the senior leadership team to ensure that diversity and inclusion initiatives are included at all levels of the organization and touch all employees, especially those working remotely from the office.
