• Tasked with establishing the Agile framework within the daily organization, as the Data Science Team operates differently than the rest of the Lowe’s organization
• Primary project manager for the Tariff Task Force whoms overarching goal is to mitigate an estimated $2B margin erosion hit for the organization as a result of tariffs implemented during trade war
• Responsible for ensuring success for specific tactical outcomes through consistent organization, tracking, and communication with project stakeholders and personnel • Develop, analyze, and manage all touch points of the project plan including responsibility for scheduling, global resource forecasting, managing project financials, and providing input and justification for costs and budget impact • Monitor the overall project performance (timeline, budget, and resource utilization) against plan and makes adjustments as needed when issues are identified and require resolution
• Serving as scrum master and product manager in an in-house development effort for Assortment Optimization Suite, while also taking on project management responsibilities for the project
• Gathering and writing features based on business partner needs
• Break features into user stories and manage product backlog and assign to team and appropriate sprints
• Help mitigate project risks by collecting and analyzing data for trigger events, drafting contingency plans, and adjusting dependencies affected by ongoing project changes • Maintain relationships with diverse project stakeholders by communicating with internal customers, third party vendors, and senior management to support questions, feedback, and requests
