Sep. 2022 - May. 2023• Builds and oversees proactive integrated communications and marketing strategy that increases awareness and effectively delivers the message of Irving-Las Colinas to local, state and national audiences • Writes news releases, articles, and supplements for publication in internal and external communications
• Serves as the Chamber’s point of contact for media, including during highly sensitive and complex situations and serves as the onsite contact during Chamber signature programs • Develop and implements strategic marketing initiatives, including paid and organic direct-to-consumer campaigns across various digital platforms
• Oversees and directs social media and web presence: strategy, content generation, and updates of www.irvingchamber.com • Coordinates press conferences and Familiarization (FAM) Tours when appropriate with local media representatives and Chamber representation • Partners with the internal and external stakeholders to develop and produce Chamber member-investor packets, print advertising, sponsor proposals, scripts, award entries, and marketing collateral text
• Manages oversight of external contracts, providing content and direction with outside marketing, design, and public relations agencies of record
• Distributes bid requests for marketing/advertising purchases. Develops projected income/expense reports
• Oversees production of Chamber signature programming, including sponsorship acquisition • Lead the Leadership Irving-Las Colinas program, including budget management, recruitment and program development focused on enhancing awareness of Irving-Las Colinas community opportunities, challenges and resources
• Supports Chamber’s state and federal legislative advocacy work • Builds and maintains executive relationships across a variety of industries, including healthcare, finance, information technology, energy, medical, etc.
