Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Quality, and Project Management:
-Manage monitoring, evaluation, and learning (including programmatic performance) for seven US-government and United Nations projects with funding of more than $6M annually
-Clean and analyze project data for outcomes, impact, and trends using STATA, including descriptive statistics and advanced statistical analysis
-Interpret data and translate the results into practical documents to inform decision making by internal and external stakeholders at all levels, including generating data visualizations
-Provide continuous feedback to project managers in order to improve outcomes, including identifying areas of improvement, best practices, and project successes
-Conduct midterm project evaluations and manage external project evaluations Capacity Building:
-Supervise in-country Monitoring and Evaluation staff and provide technical oversight to M&E activities
-Create training materials and guides for use of data systems, including train-the-trainer (ToT) materials, used to train more than 150 individuals (including organization staff and external partner staff)
-Travel to Latin America and the Caribbean to provide technical support
-Develop global guidance documents and policies on Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) processes and systems Strategy and Growth:
-Lead and co-facilitate retreats for more than 100 staff members
-Communicate project results to senior leadership to inform decision-making
-Co-design grant proposals for multilateral, bilateral, and private donors, including USAID, US Department of State, and UN, playing a key role in securing $20 million in new grants
-Communicate directly with donors to develop DMEL systems, communicate results, and improve performance, including developing results sections of donor reports
-Represent HAI at external events, including International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies 2018 presentation on Mexico violence prevention project
