Jul. 2017 - Jan. 2022Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina Area- Created and executed CTTI’s first-ever strategic communications plan to drive awareness and adoption of the organization and its work; ongoing, revisit and revise to align with organizational efforts and the Transforming Trials 2030 vision.
- Co-lead with CTTI leadership on high-level activities including grant submissions and annual reports, budget reports and justifications, and Executive Committee communications. - Oversee all CTTI communications and engagement (C+E) projects, channels, events, media relations, and special projects including a new executive director announcement, a website rebuild, 10-year anniversary celebration, and multiple successful COVID-19 efforts.
- Build and maintain relationships across CTTI, Duke/DCRI, the FDA, member organizations, and many other key audience groups.
- Since 2017, CTTI’s web traffic has increased more than 23%, resource downloads have grown by 57%, member meeting attendance has increased by 12.5%, and public webinar attendance has grown by 57%, among other accomplishments.
- Liaise between leadership, project managers, project team members, designers, and writers to conceptualize and execute C+E projects on time and on budget.
- Write and edit numerous C+E materials, including press releases, talking points, letters from the director, bylines, blogs, and more.
- Manage a team of six C+E professionals and numerous external vendors.
