This included directly managing a team of 25 in London, 15 in Amsterdam as well as indirectly nearly 250 heads located in the Bangalore off-shore centre (outsourced to Capgemini) and 10 payroll heads (outsourced to ADP). Major projects delivered included: Digital: • Originated and implemented digitisation strategy alongside Capgemini for key operational systems. This included deployment of Robotics/RPA (“Robotics Process Automation”) with over 100 robots transacting within key systems and generating significant savings. Developed in-house ‘COE’ to assess and implement RPA across multiple operational functions. • Developed predictive/machine learning analytics solution within O2C to improve collections forecasting accuracy and reduce ‘revenue leakage’. Lean/Six-Sigma: • Complete LEAN overhaul of the UK payroll systems (1,000 staff). This removed 15 man-days of effort from the monthly cycle time and much improved the accuracy of payroll to virtually no error status on key KPIs. Acquisitions: • Provided operational support during the acquisition of DreamWorks studio by NBC Universal. This included setting up 20 new payrolls across 8 countries to extremely demanding timescales and transition of critical DreamWorks entities onto new financial systems.

This covered all finance processes and covered 11 in-scope countries across the group. I also led, built and developed a Group Transformation team into an 8 person function over the last 2.5 years. Other deliverables I was responsible for included: • supporting the creation of 2 captive SSC centres in China. • delivering the establishment of an RTR/financial accounting centre in Southern China. • developing the target delivery model and business case for a new captive SSC for continental Europe. • supporting the development of a captive SSC in Latin America. ★ Operations: I was also responsible for day to day operational delivery for all finance operations for the Group. From a low base, I established operational performance standards and procedures as well as a reporting framework. This included SLA definition and establishment of balanced scorecard KPIs. ★ Strategy: I designed the Group finance transformation strategy for the next 7 years. This strategic framework consisted of a hybrid BPO and captive portfolio of SSC delivery centres, supported by 4 global transactional hubs and a local hub and spoke finance network. The business case generated savings per annum > £5m. ★ Process Improvement: I was also responsible for all the Global Process Owners' "GPOs" activities across the Group. This includes ownership of all Group processes covering RTR, P2P and O2C. As part of this work we designed the methodology and drove the adoption of a global finance process standardisation project. This delivered new policies, procedures and KPIs across the P2P, RTR and O2C towers.

This encompassed moving more value-add finance activities such as high-end controlling activities and business partnering, project accounting and contract analysis. I developed the proof-of-concept and business case via an initial feasibility study. We then conducted a successful pilot which concentrated on moving high-end activities for a number of UK business units. On the basis of the pilot we then widened the scope to then encompass 5 additional large European locations which were successfully transitioned into one global delivery centre.
