Aug. 2009 - Apr. 2014ON-CHIP ELECTROMAGNETICS LAB- Developed the currently known fastest and most memory efficient DIRECT INVERSE based Volume Integral Equation Solvers for pure 3-D electromagnetic(EM) problems. These solvers promise minimal possible memory (O(N) for all frequencies) and solution time growth (O(N) for circuit and O(NlogN) for electrodynamic) in large-scale problems involving millions of EM unknowns. O(N) iterative solver completes the family of these record-breaking 3-D EM solvers.
- On the modeling side, a first-principles based circuit parameter extraction formulation was developed for handling arbitrarily shaped lossy conductors embedded in general inhomogenous media (in the presence or absence of external radiations).
- Lastly, first ever analytical treatment to low and 'high' frequency breakdown problems was developed which also solved long-standing 'excitation-field and radar-cross-section breakdown' problems bypassing the need for new formulation or pre-conditioning techniques.
