The museum is composed of a campus that includes both a renovated historical building and a newly constructed building. It opened in Fall 2013 and now has staff of about 35 and an operating budget of nearly $4 million. • Managed multiple projects imperative to the opening of the museum, including museum store build-out, building’s tenant improvements, wayfinding signage, sculpture garden installation, founders’ wall, and purchase, delivery and installation of administrative office and exhibition furniture.
• Led hiring and management of new web design company, overseeing design and development of website, and managing the ongoing web presence and related consulting services.
• Manage information technology department; and assist in management of the facilities, event rentals, and administrative departments.
• Oversee and manage network server; hardware and software purchases, installation, and maintenance; telephone system; and public announcement system.
• Assist in marketing, social media, and event-planning projects, as well as writing and editing for publications. • Assist in all office administrative duties, including accounts payable, general office operations, receiving and shipment of art, communication with board members, artists, and other business associates; management of office equipment leases, and purchasing for all departments.
• Provide ongoing support for the museum’s exhibition installation.
