May. 2023New York, New York, United States• Report directly to the Chief of the Clinical Genetics Service, Dr. Kenneth Offit, M.D., M.P.H., for his ongoing projects and collaborations researching gremline predispositions to developing cancer
• Manage non-therapeutic research protocols and analyze datasets for expanded genomic sequencing with the goal of discovering novel gene mutations and variations conferring germline predispositions to hereditary forms of cancer
• Recruit patients and family members onto the research studies, register them in CTMS after obtaining written consent, and track patient enrollment status
• Ensure compliance with Institutional, State, and Federal regulations throughout the research studies and obtain Institutional Review Board approval and complete necessary regulatory documentation.
• Generate comprehensive data reports, extensive family history intake, data management and analysis while interacting with team members and individuals across MSK to ensure accurate data input
• Perform data queries using CTMS, Darwin AD-hoc, or internal research databases
• Lead lab meetings and document meeting minutes, acting as liaison among the clinic, clinical research, and lab
• Provide training and guidance to junior staff to promote and ensure the appropriate use of human subject protections and good clinical practice
