Dec. 2017 - Feb. 2020Canada- Led a national Community of Action focused on bringing the values, best practices, and resources of patient and family partnership / advisory programs into digital health technology companies (ranging from start-ups to larger, mature organizations); the goal is a Canadian health system where patients, family members, and caregivers have authentic partnership opportunities in all health technology companies, at all levels of the product design and management lifecycle. - Early responsibilities included socializing the Community’s unique value contribution, goal, strategy, objectives, and tasks, with key supporters Elizabeth Keller and Darren Larsen (OntarioMD) and Community sponsor Mark Casselman (Digital Health Canada), developing end-to-end project plan and timelines, and recruiting subject matter experts from across Canada (patients, caregivers, patient engagement professionals, and health technology leaders). - Responsibilities included gathering insight and experiential knowledge assets from the recruited subject matter experts, synthesizing the content, and presenting the end-product both via a Whitepaper and during national conferences (e.g. eHealth 2019).
