• Supervise HR associates and Benefits Coordinators for job function guidance and completeness.
• Govern health and welfare benefit plans, voluntary plans, and 401(k) retirement plans.
• Prepare confirmation statements for any insurance coverage or beneficiary changes and prepare personalized enrollment worksheets.
• Advise, Audit, and Enforce business, federal, state, and local legal compliance regulations. • Coordinate audits and maintain compliance in all areas in regards to general liability, workers comp, and 401k. • Ensure new policies and programs are effectively communicated and met through organizational and procedural measures, including implementation of training. • Administer the Drug and Alcohol policy, including participation random, pre-employment, post-accident.
• Execute background checking process for new hires and associate promotions.
• Mitigate employee relation issues, work-related problems, and develop solutions within the confines of policy and directives. • Communicate with internal and external businesses and vendors for issue resolution.
• Implement HRIS process improvements to improve efficiencies.
• Maintain and updated employee compensation database information.
• Maintain DISA HR and data interfaces with Insperity, a third party system.
• Prepare reports by compiling summaries of earnings, taxes, deductions, leave, disability, and nontaxable wages.
• Process changes to any HR/Payroll/Benefits forms.
• Collaborate with VP on projects, system enhancements, and project implementations to ADP.
• Assisted with the implementation of Human Resource management system. (Insperity –ADP).
• Create pay scheme, job descriptions, salary structure, and hierarchy structures for all the departments.
• Ensure that an effective performance management program is in place and utilized to drive a high performing culture. •
