Apr. 2003 - Apr. 2008• In four years, helped this nonprofit grow from less than $1M in revenue to over $5M, increased our Hospice patient census from an average of 14 to a high of 70, doubled our unduplicated Home Care census, increased our service area from two counties to twelve, expanded our services to include Home Care, Psych Home Care, Durable Medical Equipment, and Therapies. • Successfully rebranded in 2003 and 2006, designed and updated new website, redesigned all collateral marketing material. Continually updated newspaper, radio, and television advertising according to marketing schedule. • Wrote, published, and distributed quarterly newsletters, monthly articles for local newspapers, and yearly annual reports.
• Consistently marketed to over 200 churches, 120 service clubs, 280 physicians, and 24 nursing homes. Maintained advertising schedule within budget to 28 newspapers, wrote quarterly health-related articles for local publications. • Spoke at the 2008 Hospice MN Conference with the topic “Beyond Donuts: Common Sense Marketing for Nonprofit Hospices”.
