Led DSC packaging launch to retail, balancing improved profitability with maintaining DSC's entrepreneurial spirit. • Managed Transition: Led the transition of DSC's Shave Butter tubes, resulting in annual savings of $105K, a 62% increase in Post-Consumer Recycled (PCR) material usage, and a 60% reduction in lead time.
• Retail Launch: Directed the retail launch of DSC, enhancing profit margins while reducing Cost of Goods Sold (COGs) for Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) sales.
• Product Design: Designed, engineered, tested, and qualified cartridge covers for a new razor cover accommodating two cartridge sizes. Currently still used in market. Also designed, prototyped, and tested a blow-molded razor case. Collaborated with team to redesign razor mailer to work on USPS magazine mailer line to reduce shipping cost. At Unilever, supported multiple teams as a 3D Design Subject Matter Expert (SME): • Global Strategic Planning: Collaborated with a multifunctional executive advisory team to devise and implement a global strategic plan, optimizing market share across four "Design for" areas. Created effective KPIs for structural packaging design short- and long-term goals.
• New Brand Development: Supported the New Brand Development group by facilitating brand workshops using design thinking, storytelling, and 2D/3D visualization tools to help craft successful brand visions.
• Inclusive Design: Partnered with Vaseline's Skin Care team and a design agency to conceptualize more inclusive pack designs. Out of a number of designs my design was selected to move forward after multiple Home Use Tests (HUTs).
