Jan. 2003 - Sep. 2021Palmetto, GATo support the development, production, and delivery of the Cooperative’s marketing and communications activities, special projects, and sponsored events.
Perform administrative tasks for the Communications Department including but not limited to answering phones, preparing documents, spreadsheets, and presentations, and maintaining electronic and paper files. Implement communications strategies.
Monitor the Cooperative’s website and update links, news stories, newsletters, and any other changes necessary as needed in WordPress. Assist the Communication Coordinator in executing social media strategy; including creation of engaging text and graphics, videos and other content. Provide assistance with managing social media day to day activities including: developing relevant content to reach the company’s target customers; create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video and written); monitor, listen and respond to users in a “Social” way while protecting the image of the cooperative; assist with image design (ie: Facebook Timeline cover, profile pic, thumbnails, ads, landing pages, Twitter profile, Blog, etc.); assist with design, creation and management of promotions and Social ad campaigns; monitor online reviews.
Scheduling digital content. Social media and crisis communications. Respond to inquiries and posts from members and the general public as needed.
Planning and coordination of Cooperative-sponsored or sanctioned events.
Produce quality photographs of office events, training sessions, and meetings.
The production and layout of the Cooperative’s internal and external newsletters and distribute according to schedule. Manage the Touchstone Energy Co-op Connection Card program by maintaining records on participating vendors as well as soliciting new participants.
