Achievements • Was the head of the negotiations between the company and the land owners to settle the price per metric ton. • Achieved the reduction of 5% in annual freight cost thru the creation of a union of 7 mining companies in the west coast of Mexico, particularly in Manzanillo port. • Led conversation with government departments and the mining industry to turn Mintor into one of the five companies in Mexico with the ability to export during the years of 14 and 15 • Successfully coordinated the transfer of more than 900,000 tons of iron ore from the mines to the Operations Patio for treatment and preparation for export. • Achieved the company’s goal of selling 3,510 containers with iron ore to China in 3 years. • Successfully sold 8 bulk ships to China with more than 600,000 tons of iron. • Reduced the waste in the shipping process from 12% to 7%. • Led a team of 75 people, 20 people in the Manzanillo office, together with up to 55 people in the operations department at the Patio and coordinated the projects with external teams.
