Australian Research Data Commons (ARDC)Director & CEO
Sep. 2018 - Mar. 2019Brisbane, AustraliaFollowing the sudden departure of the previous Director I have taken the organisation from effectively a standing start to one having consulted with 400 individuals and organisations nationally across the sector, with a developed and communicated organisational 5 year strategy, a one year business plan, and a multi-year capital investment program. These underpinning materials outline a transformative suite of activities which will set the ARDC on a multi-year path for the benefit of all of Australia's researchers, supported and guided by a fantastic team who engage and act at all levels with a huge range of partners. To support these initiatives and to enable future feedback and adjustment I have initiated continuous and broad engagement processes via national summits, discovery activities, and research community engagements. These will ensure the ARDC's activities support and drive research outcomes with the maximum impact possible.
