- Records and Archive Management In this role I: - am a thought leader in the field of IT delivery, investigating and developing flexible and responsive service infrastructure to support the University's rapidly changing teaching, learning, and research environments. - Participate in University-wide change programs (for example faculty IT centralisation).
- Develop, implement and maintain the strategic objectives of UQ's Information Technology Services organisation (ITS).
- Develop, maintain and support a culture of service improvement, employee empowerment and high quality support within ITS.
- Provide direction and management of the Enterprise Support group within ITS, including objective development, strategy and project coordination and oversight, and participation in recruitment, selection, staff deployment, staff development and performance management.
- Develop and implement metrics to support the management of services under all the SLAs managed by teams within the group.
- Pro-actively identify new opportunities and new services for supporting ICT operations within the university (eg DropBox for Business, virtualisation, and bulk research data storage).
- Participate in University-wide procurement evaluation processes
