Moreover, I am responsible for the development and administration of academic and staff employees, including recruitment, hiring, classification, evaluation, discipline, and layoffs. Navigating complex policies has also been part of my remit. Within the realm of infrastructure management, I oversee capital projects, as well as space and equipment allocation for laboratories. This involves maintaining accurate equipment and space inventories, managing renovations and relocations, and ensuring optimal utilization of resources. Recognizing the importance of fostering collaboration and interdisciplinary initiatives, I offer my expertise to other departments and schools as needed. As a liaison, I continue to facilitate effective communication and collaboration between departments, the Dean's Office, campus offices, and external agencies. I serve as a valuable resource, representing the School on various committees, workgroups and advisory boards.
