During this period it was handeling 1/3 of the testing of K - 12 students in the United States. Hired to design, implement and run the migration of several tera-bytes of student data from a siloed Postgres federation to an Oracle Rac. This involved data extraction, transformation and loading, as well as refactoring the data access code layer (both Java and stored procedures/triggers). The migration ran successfully with zero defects within a short 24 hour downtime window.

Hired to work on the backend integration of the yard scheduling system with the Walmart backend. This was done by creating a complex object SOAP integration and writing a socket based interface layer on the Walmart side. This integration was successful and increased shipping yard throughput at Walmart 25%.

Cariocas produced auctions to increase user interaction with the brand, an early instance of "Gamification". I was hired to rewrite the underlying database interface. providing new schema and object relation mapping. I also designed and wrote the underlying caching layer, and user accounting system. This system was put into production for Coke and Fox Sports.

I also led the application server team in standing up the ATG Dynamo application server. I Managed a team of 10.

I designed, implemented and launched the data acquisition platform, lead the Oracle database migration and worked with early fulltext search providers (Omnidex and Verity Topic).
