Executive Summary: Having worked in academic for my entire career with my last position serving as Dean of Libraries and Associate Professor, I have strong curriculum vitea. Although my career has been spent in academic libraries, my experience and skills transcend them. At this point in my career, I am looking for work to utilize my experience and skills in a remote work setting. I possess effective writing and research, varied technology competencies, dynamic leadership and management prowis, financial management, contract negotiation and license management, lobbying, advocacy, technology systems migration projects, collection management, and budgeting expertise. I have networking and collaboration skills that span departments, institutions, and other entities, a high level of organizational abilities, an assortment of technology skills, excellent public service, and communication abilities. I am experienced in strategic planning, construction and renovation projects, as well as policy and planning work. Furthermore, I possess extensive experience working with a variety of committees, teams, and boards, often serving in high-level leadership roles, that span the academic and information field spectrum. I have been successfully involved in publishing, presenting, grant acquisition, and fundraising. I also have skills in mentoring and coaching not only in my field but I possess experience as a business owner helping people holistically with life skills and wellness through my LLC, Natural Horse Lover Farm a holistic healing and education center for people and animals.
