Represented various campuses, drafted statewide legislation, prepared transactional documents and policies. Deputy Los Angeles City Attorney for more than twelve years, completing over 150 jury trials to verdict. Ten Years as Employee Relations Counsel for City of Los Angeles Department of Water & Power Duties included the rendering of employment-related legal advice to top level management (i.e, "practice of preventive law"), supervision and representation in the defense of state and federal litigation at trial and appellate levels (including class action and strike-related proceedings), various complex administrative proceedings, collective bargaining negotiations, and other employment-related legal matters. Over thirty years private practice of law, specializing in Employee Relations, and representing employer, corporate, management, executive and professional clientele in a wide variety of complex administrative and litigation proceedings including insurance defense, public and private sector tort and employment law, academic appeals, civil rights litigation, real property, and business-related proceedings, among other specialized areas of legal practice.
