Apr. 2015 - Jul. 2021TaipeiThe British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei (BCCT) is a non-profit membership organization that represents the interests of Taiwanese and British companies and businesses from large corporate to individual entrepreneurs. The BCCT has 5 core functions; Promoting the Commercial Interests of its members, Promoting the UK, Promoting Taiwan, Governance and Advocacy, and Promoting Responsible Business.
The BCCT works with British Government in promoting UK-Taiwan Business and Trade across multiple areas including Finance, Retail, Food and Drink, Education, and Renewable Energy. As Executive Director my responsibilities include; Business Development, annual business planning, Full P&L, Account Management, Stakeholder management (Board, Members, local and Overseas Government), Personnel Management, Export and Trade Development, Member Recruitment and Retention, and Fundraising. The Chamber membership has grown over 70% since I took over in 2015. Annual revenues have also increased by 10%. The number of Events undertaken annually has grown from around 45 to over 70 including the development of new programmes in Renewable Energy, Women in Business, CSR, Better Business Awards, Young Professional Development, and Talent Development
