Aug. 2023 - Apr. 2024Venice, Veneto, ItalyNestled within the courtyard of the Accademia di Belle Arti, the temporary pavilion commissioned by the LAS Art Foundation for the Venice Art Biennale 2024 presents a striking blue prism that boldly contrasts with its Renaissance surroundings. This otherworldly structure appears to have descended from the sky, offering an enchanting backdrop for artist Josefa Njam’s exhibition, "Swell of spæc(i)es." Inside, visitors are immersed in a captivating experience featuring suspended jellyfish soundscapes, membrane-like sculptures, and an LED wall that showcases cosmic landscapes.

Sep. 2021 - Oct. 2024Venice, Veneto, ItalyThe Manfrin Project is a 5000 sqm architectural and restoration project aiming to develop a radical design solution which explores the role and values associated with the introduction of a contemporary art foundation within the historical fabric of Venice. The project focuses on the new and rediscovered ground floor as a permeable floorplan whose independent spaces span from the Tirali gallery, the bookshop on the Fondamenta and the café adjacent to the Parco Savornan. Resting above this, the first floor is designed to be entirely dedicated to the exhibition of the artist’s work and is divided between spaces which retain the historic patina through a selection of frescoed late 18th century rooms, and rooms which have been designed to accommodate for a more neutral and white setting to the works of the artist. UNA was also responsible for designing a temporary exhibition that showcased old and new site-specific artwork by Kapoor. The exhibition was host on the construction site of Palazzo Manfrin between the 18th of April - 9th of October, 2021. https://una-unless.org/en/work/manfrin-project-venice-2022

Sep. 2016 - Jun. 2017London, England, United KingdomMy fifth-year thesis, "Spaces for Art Sale in the Era of Globalisation. Between the Market and the Museum”, explores the phenomenon of globalisation of the contemporary art market, studying the correlation between the art fair, the commercial gallery and the auction house. The research looks at the implications the global market has had on the architecture of these commercial models, encompassing the recent development of new architectural typologies, exhibition programs, spatial expansion and art display strategies.

Sep. 2014 - Jun. 2015SingaporeOasia Hotel Downtown sets out to create an alternative imagery for commercial high- rise developments. It combines innovative ways to intensify land use with a tropical approach that showcases a perforated, permeable, furry, verdant tower of green in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District (CBD). Introducing layers of elevated ground levels allow the precious but limited ground floor space to be multiplied, creating generous public areas for recreation and social interaction throughout the high-rise. http://www.archdaily.com/215376/oasia-downtown-woha
