My name is Bruce Mc Crorie. I am 50 years old. I was born in Portugal but my father was British, so I have both nationalities. I have a bachelor degree in Philosophy. I have a good level of english, medium french and spanish. I have a wide experience in organizing events and managing teams. My company works with some of the best Hotels in Portugal, such as Hotel Intercontinental, The Yeatman, Maison Albar Le Monumental Palace and Six Senses Douro Valley. I work a lot with the foreign market, so I'm used to a close contact with clients from all over the world. I have always been connected with sports, first as a player and later as a coach. I started as a sports events organizer, most of them related to tennis and meanwhile I started to organize other type of events such as music concerts, parties, etc. In 2005 I started a company (Castelo D’Areia) that managed a restaurant in Porto. There, I acquired experience in different areas: staff management, contact with clients and suppliers, social network management and costs management. After that I managed a tennis school (Escola de Ténis Bruce Mc Crorie) in a resort In Óbidos (Bom Sucesso Design Resort), where I was the tennis monitor, the manager and also responsible for the organization of all the events related to the school (workshops, tournaments, tennis classes, etc) Later on, I started my own company, working as a musician, DJ and as a manager. I have done hundreds of events related to music and other cultural activities. As a CEO/Manager I am also responsible for al the actions of the company, such as promotion, social media network, elaboration of annual plans and programming, contact with suppliers and clients. I can consider my self as a working person, compliant and applied. I have a good capacity for initiative and to reach goals. Worked most of my life alone but always managing teams.
